Our Featured Pet...

HUNTER
Hunter was pulled from Miami-Dade AC a few days before I moved,
Mary, in Davie, took him into foster.
He was VERY thin, coat a mess and he smelled bad! A month with Mary and he was ready to go.
Hunter (AKA King) is a beautiful sable/white, young, fully vetted, chipped, young man
(estimated at 4 - 5 years old). King is well behaved except..... he is very active and vocal when he is outside.
Perfect for high energy sports!
All collies are barkers, but he is really active. A little training with the right equipment and trainer
We feel that Hunter needs a job to keep him busy. Maybe on a farm or to be trained for
performance activities like agility, rally or who knows...dancing dog!!
Hunter deserves a forever home.... ASAP so you and Hunter can start playing!!
Hunter is now in the NAPLES area.
Fenced yard required.
Adoption

To submit an APPLICATION please go to ColliesFlorida Rescue website. Vet reference, home visit and fenced in yard required.

Who We Are

We are the Greater Tampa Bay area chapter of ColliesFlorida Rescue. The goal of ColliesFlorida Rescue is to aid, foster and rehome abandoned and neglected collies in Florida.
ColliesFlorida Rescue is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization based in Gainesville, FL.

We do not have a shelter. The collies in our program all live as family pets in foster homes. Our ability to help collies is limited by the number and availability of foster homes.

Fostering is Fun and Rewarding!!

Give fostering a try...and save the life of a homeless collie!

Families and local shelters contact us to take unwanted or stray collies. Collies, who may otherwise be destroyed at an over-crowded shelter, are temporarily placed with a Foster Family until a Forever Family is found. We only ask that the Foster Family provide the collie with food, shelter and love. We pay any needed medical expenses.

Go to our ColliesFlorida Rescue website and click at the top on Forms to submit a Foster Home Application and read the Guidelines.

Saving just one dog won't change the world.
But it surely will change the world for that one dog.
