Gemini wasn't taken care of as a puppy. She was rescued by Orange County Animal Services but the damage was already done. Her muscles didn't develop and her kidneys and liver were damaged. Gemini really fought hard but she just couldn't do it. She lost her fight to live.
Gemini is the reason we started this rescue. It's because of Gemini and the many others out there that need a little bit of extra time and help to heal physically and mentally and wouldn't have a chance otherwise.

Sophie!!
Sophie is between 10 to 12 years old. We went to Orange County Animal Services to pick up another dog and Sophie was standing at her kennel door getting our attention to help her. Sophie has no teeth, however she survived 2 months out on her own. Sophie is a spitfire and loves to run around the house playing and chasing cats. Sophie would love to join a senior person to enjoy hanging out, watching TV and taking walks together. Sophie is up to date on shots, spayed and microchipped.

We rescue most of our pets through county shelters, however we welcome all individual rescues and will be happy to list them as a courtesy post!
We are in need of Foster Homes! If you would like to open your home and heart to one of our rescued pets by fostering, please let us know!
