About Animal Rescue Center of Bay County
Animal Rescue Center of Bay County, Inc. is a nonprofit, all volunteer, foster based organization dedicated to helping our local animals that have been abandoned in the Panama City, Florida area. Many of these animals are abandoned due to no fault of their own, and deserve a second chance at life. That is what ARC is trying to give them.

You will need to print it out to complete it. Once you've completed the application, you can mail, fax or scan and email the application to us. All of our contact information is listed on the bottom of each page of the application. Once we receive your application, we'll start checking your references and we will call you to make an appointment for your home visit. The home visit helps us get a feel for you, what you're looking for in a critter and helps us to ensure that all ARC critters are going into a caring, loving home.
We need foster homes!
ARC focuses on pulling animals from local shelters that are in danger of being euthanized. We are always on lookout for more foster homes, because the more foster homes we have, the more lives we save!

Once we receive your application, we'll start checking your references and we will call you to make an appointment for your home visit. The home visit helps us get a feel for you, what typesof animals you're able to foster and we can answer any questions you have at that time.
All that we ask of our foster homes are to provide a loving home and food for our animals and to attend any ARC events that you can with your foster. We provide the collar & leash (for dogs), flea and heartworm medicine and any needed and approved vet care, such as spay/neuter, vaccinations, and treatment of illnesses. We also provide care packages for our fosters with toys and treats.
