The South Florida SPCA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of abandoned, abused, and neglected animals. Our primary focus is saving horses.

We are supported solely by personal contributions and volunteer assistance.

We rescue nearly 200 neglected, injured and abandoned horses and livestock animals are rescued annually in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. This results in expenses in excess of $150,000 per year. Thanks to our loyal friends and supporters we have been able to provide veterinarian care, vaccines, supplies, feed, and pasture rentals for the animals through various local fundraisers and donations. Every contribution helps, so thank you in advance for helping and caring!

    • The South Florida Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a non-profit 501(c3) organization operating under the guidelines of Florida State Statues Chapter 828 which defines animal cruelty, abandonment and neglect. The organization is not part of or supported by an national or governmental agency. We are not associated with the ASPCA or any other agency or charity. We are an independent non-profit organization. Operating funds come from the donations of money, services and personal efforts of private individuals and companies.

    The registration number with the Solicitation of Contributions section of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for the South Florida S.P.C.A. is CH9651.
