Our Featured Pet...

Our featured pets this Month is Willow! WIllow has been here at Rajah's Rescue for about 2 years. She is just a young gal, about 2 or so! She is playful with the most darling little face. Willow currently weighs about 45-50 pounds and also gets along with other dogs and would be great with children. Willow is crate trained (as all the dog's at the Rescue are), has been spayed and is up to date on her shots. Willow had a sister named "Red" and she already found a home. Imagine how lonely Willow is without her sister. Willow needs a good home that will love her and play with her.h3>News Rajah's Rescue currently has over 38 dogs and 24 cats that need a loving home. The Rescue is growing faster than we can work to accomodate. Volunteers are always welcome, just call the rescue if . interested. NO ONE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE PLEASE! Not all the dogs and cats are on the site yet, so please, if you have a specific dog or cat in mind, call us to see if we have a pet similar.

Who We Are

Rajah's Rescue Sanctuary and Foster, Inc is a Non-Profit Organization to help rehabilitate and care for animals of abuse, abandonment, or just lost pets. Rajah, a Doberman Pincher, is the inspiration of this Organization. She was adopted by Karen McKinster, the Founder of Rajah's Rescue. When Karen moved to Mayo, FL, she realized all the dogs and cats running around without a home, love or a stable life. A lot of these dogs and cats were hurt or sickly. Karen has a magical hand when it comes to healing and caring for animals. All pets at the Rescue are Spayed/Neutered , treated for fleas/ticks, treated for any other problem they may have had when found or dropped off, and up to date on shots.There is a $150.00 adoption fee for all adoptions of cats and dogs and $300.00 for horses to help support keeping these pets healthy and happy,and keep the pet population down in Lafayette County, FL. All dogs are crate trained and house trained. They are kept cool in the Summer and warm in the Winter. They are all loved and give just as much love back. Adopting a friend and Donations

You must call for an appointmtent as the property is very secure for your protection and the pets protection. 386-294-1442 Once an appoinment and type of pet are determined, you may come and visit Rajah's Rescue, choose a pet and fill out an application. There is a 7 day trial so if you and the pet are not compatible, you may bring the pet back to Rajah's Rescue with no obligation. If after 7 days, you are satified with the pet, you must sign a Rajah's Rescue $300.00 for horses. This fee helps support the Rescue and keeps all the Pets healthy and happy and the overpopulation of unwanted animals down. Food, Crates, Toys, Beds and Blankets, etc. are always welcome donations!! We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels.
