Thank you for looking at rescue dogs! Please understand we have no staff. We have jobs, families, and busy lives like all of you do. Be patient and we will return your email as promptly as possible.Who We Are
UnderDogs is an all volunteer group of people who rescue and foster needy dogs mostly from death row at local dog pounds. Pets are kept in our homes for evaluation and are socialzed in a good environment. We operate entirely off of personal funds which is why we can only help a few dogs at a time. It is very expensive to feed, groom, clean, train and get these animals healthy.Adopting a friend
Beacuse all medical expenses are paid by us and we get no grant money or donations, our adoption fees vary slightly, depending on the medical needs of the pet. But typically, it runs $175 and beginning November 1st will be $250 for puppies or purebred dogs. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, on HeartGuard and Frontline. Some pets may have a lower adoption fee, but it will be noted in the comments for that pet. Thank you for understanding that even these adoptions fees don't even begin to cover the charges we incur at the vets office...not to mention food, laundry, bedding, toys, leashes, kennels, etc. Our average monthly expenses to operate are over $5000 (no one gets paid a dime!) and we do around 10 adoptions a month. We do not have a physical shelter location for you to visit. Our dogs are in our homes, businesses and wherever we can put them. We work on appointments. We try to limit the hours that we make appointments to allow us to have time with our familes. We do not show dogs on Sundays or after 6:00 during the week.UnderDogs
