Who We Are

We are an all breed ,nationwide NO KILL non-profit rescue.
We offer shelter and care for homeless disaster relief animals, through a network of rescue and foster homes. We encourage Spayed and Neutered programs and to present education regarding animal care and welfare.
Hurricane Pets is compromised of a small group of private individuals, committed to the lives of the animals we save.
Most of these animals we rescue after a disaster remain in foster care for a period of 3 months, if after 3 months the animal is not reclaim by its owner ,that animal is then put up for adoption.
Some animals are also owner surrender and those are put up for adoption immediately.
All expenses come out of our own pockets. Adoption fees are set to a limited amount and are used to offset the cost of necessary medical and caring expenses of the animals in our care.
We are not a shelter and we operate solely from foster homes.
If you like to see any of our adoptable pets , please call or e-mail us to make an appointment.
Please note that you MUST fill out a screening application before seeing our pets.
If you are a kind, loving, caring adopter who will love and care for your pet and do the best you can to protect and provide for them you are the kind of adopter we want and please take a look at our animals that need homes. We reserve the right to refuse to adopt to anyone.

Adopting a friend

Our Adoption Fees are:
Cats and Kittens
under 12 weeks are $ 100.00
12 weeks To a 6 years old $100.00

Dogs and Puppies
Under 12 weeks are $ 150.00
12 weeks to 6 years old...$ 150.00
Seniors $ 125.00

We will give you a 20% discount for any pets that you will adopt together!!

Senior cats are: $ 60.00
Senior dogs are:$ 80.00

Special Needs please call us or e-mail us for their adoption fee.
Please note that will will only adopt Special Need Pets to experienced pet owners!!

Purebred Cats fees are:
Under 12 weeks $ 300.00
12 weeks to a year $ 250.00
Over a year old $ 200.00

Purebred Dogs fees are:
under 12 weeks $350.00
12 weeks to a year $ 300.00
Over a year old $ 250.00

Please note that the adoption fee only covers the vetting expenses for the animals such as microchipping , spay/neuter , 4 in 1 shots, rabies and FELV and FIV test, heartworm test, etc.
All of the animals adopted through us are fully vetted and come with a free month of Shelter Care Pet Insurance!!!
