We just started this website to try and help find our friends wonderful permanent homes. We have many fantastic dogs and cats that deserve a much needed second chance with new families. We certainly welcome any and all visitors to our facility to meet and greet our adoptable animals. Who We Are
We at VHA are dedicated to providing top quality care for pets in Central Florida. We have a reputation as one of the finest veterinary health facilities in the area. We provide services such as dental, x-ray, surgical, emergency and annual exams. We are currently located in Winter Haven, Florida.
Adopting a friend
If you are interested in adopting an animal from us there are a few things we ask. You may call ahead or drop by any time during our adoption hours from 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday and visit with our adoptable animals. We do recommend you come in and meet the animals before making any decisions. We also ask that all members of the household come to meet the animal to insure a better fit among your family. If you find an animal that you feel would fit in with your family, we ask that you fill out a short questionaire including your name, address, and information about yourself. There is a $125.00 adoption fee, which includes spay/neuter and all vaccines for the animal. After all the necessary paperwork is completed, you and your new pet can begin enjoying your new lives together. Any other services will be a seperate charge. If for any reason the animal does not work out within the first 30 days, we ask that you return the animal to us without any additional charges. If you have any questions please contact us.
