Who We Are
We are a full service veterinary hospital that is committed to helping as many sick and injured animals as we can through our Good Samaritan program. Generally, animals are brought to us by people ("Good Sams") who find them and we fix them up and adopt them out when they are healthy. All the animals we adopt out are up to date on their vaccines, have negative fecal exams, are dewormed and are flea-free. Our adoption fees are between $65 and $250 depending on the age, species and breed. We require that all pets we adopt out be spayed or neutered prior to adoption if they are old enough or that a deposit be left to ensure they will be spayed/neutered at the appropriate age. We get a lot of kittens coming through our doors and we don't always have time to list them individually so feel free to call us and check on who's up for adoption.Adopting a friend
We encourage you to come in and meet our animals during business hours (7 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday and 8 am to noon on Saturday). Just inquire at the front desk and we'd be happy to help. Once you've found the pet of your dreams, you'll be asked to sign an adoption contract which stipulates you'll be a responsible pet owner and to provide proof of home ownership or a lease allowing pets. If the pet isn't old enough to be spayed or neutered yet, a deposit will be charged to insure that surgery gets done. Our adoption fees are between $65 and $250. When your adoption has been approved, one of our doctors will do an exam on the adoptee and make sure that they are healthy, have their necessary vaccines, are dewormed and flea-free. When your adoptee is ready to go, the doctor or technician will talk with you and let you know what to expect from the newest member of your family.Come Visit Us!
We are located at 1881 N. Martin Luther King Blvd across from the old Northwood mall. Look for the red sign with the cross that says "Northwood/TPETS" From the south, take Monroe north past Lake Ella then turn west (left) onto Tharp Ave. Take a right at the first light (Martin Luther King). The clinic is past the post office on the right. From the north, take Monroe south. Turn right onto Martin Luther King (at the Hooter's). Go past one stoplight (Northwood Blvd).
