Not a professional grant writer or event planner, but still want to help the animals?
FANTASTIC!

People are constantly asking us how they can help us, and helping us to save the animals with any fundraising that you can do will SAVE SO MANY!

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

  • Chronic bad language or tardiness in the office? Put a collection jar on your desk and have everyone who curses or comes in late to work put in a dollar!

  • Grocery store with lots of customers and no charities being helped? Ask your local grocery store if you can put a collection jar on one of the cash registers and collect it at the end of the week

  • Need a way to get the office to not only work together but to "do good for others" together? Ask everyone in the office to donate a couple of dollars (or anything they can spare) to help save a life

  • Want to cut out calories one day a week? Bypass that foofy cup of coffee just one morning and put the money toward saving a life! Your body and a rescued pet will thank you!

  • Everyone loves your coffee cake? Why not sell slices at the office or after work to send the funds to the animals?

  • You make gorgeous quilts that everyone wants? Why not sell them and donate the proceeds to save the pets at Sanctuary Animal Refuge!

  • Kids need to earn community service hours? Not only will they earn hours, but they will learn about pet responsibility and saving lives if you have each scout or ball team member raise money for the pets! Just let us know how many hours they spend collecting for the animals!

  • The money raised is to save the rescued pets from euthanasia, then to have them vet checked, spayed/neutered, and transported to safety. You simply collect funds and send any amount to us through paypal! Any amount that you can send helps SO MUCH! THANK YOU!

We'd love for you to be a member of Team Sanctuary Animal Refuge!!! Please join us and donate to save the animals!

The Sanctuary is commited to the betterment of animal life.

    Our program is three-fold:
  • Rescue. We rescue and rehabilitate abused, abandoned, and lost farm and domestic animals.
  • Adoption. We have an active rehoming program though which those adoptable animals that are surrendered or rescued to us are offered for adoption. Those that are not adopted live their lives in peace and harmony at the Sanctuary.
  • Community involvement. We offer clinics throughout the year to examine and treat animals whose owners cannot afford veterinary care.

Aside from these items, we also offer a very special "Work and Earn" program where young people in the community may work at the Sanctuary in exchange for learning about animal care and training animals. We also give them free food, vaccinations, worming treatments, and monthly flea, tick and heartworm preventatives for their pets as a benefit of their involvement.

Thank you for adopting our rescued pets and saving lives with us!

    Our adoption donations are:
    Dogs (puppies and adults): $225
    Dogs (seniors): $100
    Cats: $85
    Ferrets: $85
    Rabbits: $35

Adoptions include veterinary checkup, vaccinations, heartworm check and treatment, sterilization (for pets over 5 months of age), and the unconditional love of a rescued pet whose life you helped to save!

Adopters of puppies or kittens that are not yet spayed or neutered must complete the spay/neuter deposit form and pay a refundable deposit of $75 that will be returned upon proof of spay or neuter.

    The Miracle Baby Boy

We'd like to share a video of a puppy who was born to a VERY PREGNANT Bichon female who came into rescue from a commercial breeding facility. She had an emergency c-section not long after arriving. She gave birth to 7 puppies, but only one made it...this little darling. He is a purebred Bichon (and is already adopted to his foster mom). He's finally getting some hair, and although he tries his hardest to suckle, he just can't, so he's tube-fed every 2 hours. He has such a strong will to survive. He has already survived a week.

    PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM!
Enjoy the video of the miracle baby boy.

  • For the rebuilding of the Sanctuary (we've been hit by 4 hurricanes in the past few years), we need:

  • Fundraising volunteers (working with us to secure funds to continue the growth and community service of the Sanctuary)
  • Publicity/Media volunteers (helping to reach the public with the work that is done by Sanctuary Animal Refuge)

For all ongoing projects, we need:
  • Donations to our Building Fund (to build a block building to keep the animals safe during storms)
  • Donations to our Pet Food Fund (we constantly need to purchase pet food and farm animal feed!)
  • Donations for our Youth Program (Our "Work and Earn" Program needs continuous funding so that children can earn credits for free food and vaccines for their own animals)

We are a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue charity, so any donation that you make for the pets or the programs at Sanctuary Animal Refuge is tax-deductible! ANY item or amount helps SO MUCH! THANK YOU!

Remember -- when you adopt a rescued pet, you don't just save ONE life, but TWO!
You save the life of the pet that you adopt, and you enable us to bring another pet to the Sanctuary to be rehabilitated and rehomed!
