Our Featured Pet...

ZABU is a special needs boy in that he is FIV+ - but very healthy. He is super affectionate and so handsome! Zabu is about six years young - he's a really nice boy who deserves a very loving, indoor home. Zabu has learned how to peacefully co-exist with the multitude here, so introducing him to a home with one or two other cats would be do-able! no > .

NEWS

We are looking to relocate our sanctuary. We need a homey faciilty, Tarpon north to Port Richey, zoned C2 or C3 or I1 or I2. The new facility will be in addition to our PetSmart Adoption Center. If you are or if you know of a spot that would work, please contact us!

SO MANY CATS, SO FEW HOMES

Are you feeding strays or ferals? Please get them fixed! Visit our website for a list of low-cost spay neuter facilities. Remember, one female cat and her offspring can, in just seven years, produce 420,000 cats!!!!

SPAY, DON'T LITTER!!!

OPEN YOUR HEART AND HOME!

If you already have one or two cats, why not consider one more - and give a precious feline a second chance for a loving and safe forever home. All ages, colors, and purrsonalities await you at The Little Cats' Rescue. We have some amazingly beautiful, healthy and happy cats and kittens just waiting for their own special forever homes. Can't bring another cat into your home but would like to help the cats? Consider sponsoring a "lifer" - a precious cat that simply cannot be adopted and will live his or her life here at the sanctuary. Visit our website to donate via paypal, or mail a donation to P.O. Box 1559, Elfers, FL 34680. The Cats thank you!

WHO WE ARE

The Little Cats' Rescue (TLC) incorporated in 2003 as a 501(c)3 non profit. We are an effective group of volunteers who are dedicated to an aggressive spay/neuter program and the goal of NO MORE HOMELESS CATS. Our cats are always spay/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, socialized, in good health and current on necessary vaccinations prior to adoption. At the sanctuary, as temperment and health permit, TLC cats live freely together, uncaged. They all get lots of love, have many toys, scratching posts, hideaways, windows to watch the birds and butterflies...and premium food.

BECOME A TLC-RESCUE PARTNER

MANY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AWAIT YOU! Volunteer your time and be rewarded with purrs and the knowledge that you have enriched the lives of these fragile ones! Have no time, can't adopt, but have a heart to help them? Donations are tax deductible, greatly needed and used solely for the rescue and care of cats. ADOPTING A FRIEND

You can rest assured that your adopted TLC Rescue kitty comes to you fully vetted, pampered and loved by foster parents. After your application is reviewed, you will be contacted for a visit. We do check vet references, and we make a home visit prior to adoption. Visit our website to obtain Adoption Policy Information and an Application, or email to request one.

Come Visit Us!

PetSmart kitties are availble to meet during store hours. (SR54 and Little Road) The sanctuary is not open to the public and visits are by appointment only, once your preliminary application has been approved. We have many other adoptable cats who haven't made it onto the website due to lack of time. If you are seriously interested in adopting, but don't see your "purrfect" match here, please contact us via email with your desires. We just may have that purrfect match right here waiting for you!
