Who We Are
Lee County Domestic Animal Services' mission it to provide for public safety and health of Lee County residents and animals. We take in approximately 10,000+ animals each year that are not claimed by their owners or are confiscated for cruelty and neglect. LCDAS has many programs for the betterment of the animals and the community such as, Animal Care Trust Fund, Low-Cost Spay Neuter for disadvantaged pet owners, Trap-Neuter-Return Program for feral and community cats, Community Pet Pantry, and more.
Adopting a friend
Adopters are required to complete an application. The adoption fee for kittens is $75, cats are $50, puppies are $95, dogs are $75.00.and senior pets (6 years and over are $25). Senior citizens, 65 and older, and military personnel receive a $25 discount on adult pets and seniors and military personnel may adopt senior pets for free. The adoption fee includes all basic shots (if over 3 months of age the adoption fee also includes a rabies vaccine and county license), first flea treatment, deworming, heartworm test (for dogs over 6 months old), feline aid and leukemia test (for cats) spay or neuter surgery, Microchip ID, training DVD., bag of Science Diet pet food, and 10 day health guarantee.
