IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE OF OUR ADOPTION AREA, DO NOT CONTACT US ABOUT ADOPTING A DOG. OUR ADOPTIONS ARE LIMITED TO WITHIN TWO HOURS OF PENSACOLA, FLORIDA. NO EXCEPTIONS.
WE DO NOT ADOPT DOGS OUT AS SURPRISES OR GIFTS.
A SECURE AND REASONABLY SIZED FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED. NO UNDERGROUND FENCING!
MILITARY THAT IS SUBJECT TO BE TRANSFERRED WHERE THEY CANNOT TAKE A DOG WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR ADOPTING.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO ADOPT TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON.

ADOPTING A FOREVER FRIEND
To adopt one of our dogs, you must fill out an and undergo a vet and home check. You must have an adequately sized fenced yard. No underground fences. . All dogs in your household must be spayed or neutered, unless there is a medical reason otherwise. Effective May 1, 2013, adoption fees are changing. Increased costs for vetting and a low amount of adoptions are making this necessary. Adoption Application/Contract Fees are $250; $300 for dogs under 6 months.
All dogs adopted through us are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on shots, tested and treated for heartworms and other parasites, on heartworm and flea prevention, temperament tested, microchipped and groomed before going to their forever home. Should the dog have a medical issue, we will not adopt until the problem is remedied. You can foster a dog with medical problems that you wish to adopt. WE ARE IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES. If you are interested in opening your heart and home to a rescue Sheltie or Collie, or whatever else we may have available, call or email. We provide all vet care for the rescue.
