ADOPTING A LABRADOR RETRIEVER

Labs and Golden Retrievers are generally considered the very best breeds for families with children. Labs in particular are fun-loving and easy-going by nature. They are great companions, eager to please and love the water. Simply turning on the sprinklers or playing a game of 'fetch' will delight your Lab. We rescue, and place many Labs.

Labrador Retrievers come in black, chocolate (brown) and yellow. We usually have some of each available for adoption.

WHO WE ARE

Friends Forever Rescue, Inc. is a registered non-profit organization in Miami, Florida. We rescue Labrador Retrievers, as well as other breeds. We rehabilitate them, and rehome them with loving, forever families. In addition, when we have room, we help other rescue groups needing assistance. Our capacity is limited by the number of foster homes we use, and available space at our shelter. Would you consider fostering a dog in need (and thereby saving a life)?

All of our rescues are spayed/neutered (even if they have papers!).

We have a 'virtual shelter' that is a network of foster homes, as well as our new shelter in Palmetto Bay(17425 SW 97 Ave.) We show our dogs every Saturday from 10 to 5pm at Petsmart across from the Falls (US 1 and S.W. 136 Street in Miami).

Our adoption fees start at $250 (cash, or check only) and go up depending on the breed, and/or size of the dog. We prefer to keep our adoptions local to Florida because we have very little experience in shipping! Thank you for your interest in wanting to adopt a rescue!
