Who We Are
CCFA is a non-profit organization [501(c)(3)] seeking to provide a temporary holding shelter for healthy dogs and cats until they can be adopted. It is our purpose to neuter or spay all animals in our care to help cut down the pet population explosion! We have dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens for adoption. We take great pride in the excellent care your future pets receives while in our foster homes. The dogs and cats are kept at private foster homes, so we do not have standard hours of operation for viewing or paid staff to assist us. We appreciate your patience since we all lead very busy lives.
Adopting a friend
Adoptions through CCFA require completing and returning an application, an interview with the perspective adopter by one of the CCFA volunteers, completion of our CCFA Adoption Contract, and payment. Adoption fee varies. Please check individual listings for details. We generally adopt ONLY in the immediate area (Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties). We accept cash and checks for payment.
Come Visit Us!
Dogs (and sometimes cats/kittens) are usually at the Citrus Park Petsmart some Saturdays of each month from noon until 3 p.m. Please check back here for details before going to Petsmart, however, since we sometimes have open house or change locations.
