When you are ready to open your heart and home for a rescued Keeshond, we will do our best to help you find the right dog. Each Keeshond in our foster care program is hoping to be adopted by the right forever family. Some are listed and others, not yet listed, are being evaluated, receiving vet care, or are in training to ensure that they are ready to join their very own forever family. Don't forget the seniors and Kees with special please, they deserve a forever family too! When you are ready to adopt a rescued Keeshond, please submit an Application. Dogs in our foster care program are cared for in private homes by loving foster parent caregives until we find the best possible "forever" family to adopt the dog. Florida Keeshond Rescue is a nonprofit 501c3 organization whose volunteers are dedicated to the purposes of rescue, rehabilitation and placement of previously abandoned, neglected, abused or unwanted keeshonden in permanent homes with responsible caregivers. We believe that all keeshonden deserve to live in peace without abuse of any kind. We present and promote educational programs designed to increase public awareness, enrich the human-animal bond and ensure the welfare of the breed. Our guiding tenet is to do what is best for each keeshond. We strive to instill respect, kindness, compassion and love of all living beings. We depend entirely on donations to do this important work and encourage you to give as you are able.
