Our Featured Pet

Hi, I'm Lazaro!

Here he is today, free of heartworms, and adopted by a truly loving family. While here he gained a bit too much weight, so Nancy and Monty will be putting him on a diet and giving him more exercise.

Who We Are

Pekes and Pals Canine Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, no-kill rescue organization. We rescue Pekingese and other toy breed dogs who are in danger of being euthanized in over-crowded shelters, turned in to rescue by owners who can no longer care for them, strays who are found abandoned, and find loving new homes for them. We are funded entirely by Donations and are manned entirely by volunteers. If you would like to consider volunteering please fill out the Volunteer Application on our website.
