Volunteer Services for Animals, Inc. (VSA) is a non-profit corporation established in 1982 for the purpose of helping homeless animals in Collier County, Florida. We have no paid employees, we are all volunteers. All of our programs are funded through donations. We are not affiliated with any government agencies. VSA runs a Low Cost Spay/Neuter cerificate program designed to help people in financial need "Fix" their pets. VSA has a "Fix" Your Pet representitive at Collier County Domestic Animal Services ~ 7610 Davis Blvd., on Saturdays from 10:30 until 12 noon. Collier County residents in financial need can apply for these low cost certificates at that time. You may be asked to show proof of income. Certificates for cats are $30.00 and certificates for dogs range from $30.00 to $45.00, depending on the sex and weight of the animal. There will be a $5.00 refundable deposit on each certificate. Deposits will be returned when you bring in your receipt from the veterinarian showing proof of the surgery. Call the "Fix" Your Pet hotline 239-597-4930 for any changes in this program.
Adoptions of our foster kittens are at Petsmart in Naples ~ 2255 Pine Ridge Rd. on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 4:00. Come and find your new best friend at the adoption center. These foster kittens are saved by our dedicated foster parents and are given TLC until they can be placed in their forever homes.
