Meet our Featured Pet *~*Georgia*~*...
Georgia is a 3 year old English Bulldog/Boxer mix who was originally seized as part of a cruelty case from a north Florida puppy mill in December 2006. Her living conditions consisted of living in a kennel with multiple other dogs, day in and day out. They were fed, bred, and pottied in the kennels. Georgia and many of the other dogs had urine burns on their feet when they first entered rescue due to poor living conditions. Her social skills with other dogs are limited, so Georgia would do best as an only dog so that she can enjoy all of the attention from her special human. She does not get along well with most dogs due to fear, but is a sweet little lovebug with people once she gets to know them and enjoys giving kisses and sitting in laps. Georgia is built like a bulldog, short and squatty; yet has the wiggle of a boxer. She walks well on a leash and weighs about 40 lbs. She enjoys long walks, lots of toys, and cuddling. She is crate trained and will gladly enter her crate for a special treat.
Georgia is being fostered in Monticello, FL and is in need of a foster or permanent home without other animals. If you think you can help this special girl, please let us know!
