Greyhound Gang of Florida is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization located in the Tampa, Florida area. Our sole purpose is to find adoptive homes for retired racing greyhounds, to help any greyhound in need, and to educate the public about what wonderful pets greyhounds are.
Adopting a friend
To adopt a greyhound, please visit our website at
http://www.greyhoundgangfl.org and complete the
electronic application or call and we will send you an application. Once we have your application approved, you are welcome to come to any of our Meet and Greets to see the greyhounds and choose the one that is right for you. We will do a home visit to make sure the greyhound is compatible with your pets, to answer your questions, and provide information on taking care of your grey. All greyhounds that we adopt are spayed or neutered, have their teeth cleaned, and have had all their shots. Our adoption fee is $175, which partially covers the veterinary costs. Because we do not ship dogs, adoptions are limited to the central Florida area.
