Citrus County Animal Services

Our Pet List

*Due to constant changes of available animals, not all available animals make it to Petfinder. If you don't see what you want here please visit our website* This has been our busiest year and we need your help! From January to November, we have had several large cruelty cases resulting in 512 seized animals being brought to our shelter. Many of those animals must be housed here due to pending court cases. We are using 300 pounds of cat litter daily to care for the 133 cats currently housed! On average 22 additional animals are brought to the shelter each day. Our shelter is designed to hold (at maximum capacity) 200 animals. Please check our web site at www.citruscritters.com for updates on our cruelty investigations. We currently have 8 large exotic parrots and 2 horses that will be auctioned soon.
