We presently have many more dogs in the state of Florida who need help then we have the resources to provide. WE NEED QUALIFIED FOSTER HOMES! Who We Are
Jack Russell Rescue FL is a local organization helping Jack Russells and Rat terriers, WE ARE NOT A SHELTER! We are a 501(c)3 Not-for-Profit organization that relies entirely on volunteers. Our dogs come from shelters, owner turn-ins and strays. We try to reserve foster homes for dogs that have nowhere else to go, asking owners who wish to surrender their dogs to
house them until we are able to place them in a suitable home. All of our available terriers are current on vaccinations, on heartworm preventative, and are spayed or neutered before placement.

An adoption application must be filled out and approved prior to adoption.
There are many terriers in need of homes, in Florida and throughout the United States, because many folks get these dogs without truely researching them. Terriers are high energy, high drive dogs who will rule your life if you let them! They require obedience training and discipline. Although cute, and smart, these dogs are not for everyone!
