P.A.W.S of Hillsborough County
All PAWS events are hosted and run by PAWS volunteer.Since we do not pay salaries or in any way compensate any members or volunteer of PAWS, and our administrative costs are minimal, you can be assured your donation will directly benefit a homeless animal. Proceeds are used for medical care for abused/abandoned animals or for our Shelter and Educational Center Fund. PAWS hopes to raise enough money to purchase 5 acres of land and buildings in Eastern Hillsborough County for a No-Kill Community Animal Shelter.

We have no shelter at this time. We hope to have the funds available by the end of 2006. Come on out to our events to help us make our goal.

Adoption Requirements
The following is a list of requirements new pet guardians must meet/agree to before adopting an animal from PAWS.
Any other dogs, cats or common domestic animals in the household must be fixed. Unusual pets will be evaluated on an individual basis.
Adoptor must pay $100.00 (dogs) $75.00 (cats) adoption fee and $17.50 microchip registration fee.
Adoptor must purchase 6 months heartworm and 6 months Advantage within 2 weeks of final adoption (Unless medical reasons prevent it).
WE REQUIRE THAT ALL ADOPTED DOGS BE KEPT ON HEARTWORM PREVENTATIVE MEDICINE.
All animals adopted will be "indoor" pets - PAWS does not adopt "outdoor" animals.
If it doesn't work out, ALL animals MUST be returned to PAWS!
In some cases, a fenced yard is required
Adoptions done in Tampa Bay area only.
