A Haven Before A Home, our permanent no-kill shelter, is becoming a reality. The fully redesigned shelter will be almost 19,000 square feet when completed. Groundbreaking for Phase One will be in early Summer 2009, with an estimated completion date of December 2009. Be sure to visit our website to view renderings of the shelter, and keep up-to-date on its progress.
Who We Are
The South Lake Animal League was established in 1988 to help the abused, abandoned, and neglected animals in our community. We are committed to a "No-Kill" policy. In the 21 years since the organization began, the League has placed more than 2,900 animals into loving homes.
