Our Featured Pet...
Janie is a wonderful example of the sweet dispositions and personalities of most of our cat population. She is a tabby striped cat with some white, medium length hair and a bushy tail. She is a spayed female and gets along well in a multi-cat household. Don't you have room for one more - Janie deserves her "happily, ever-after" right now! News
The SPCA will be hosting a "Howl-O-Dream" Open House on Saturday, October 25th. Plans are still in the making but there will be extended thrift store hours with many reduced bargains, special pricing on all pets, 50/50 raffles, freebies, give-aways and fun for the entire family.
Who We Are
We are a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer, limited intake shelter for the unwanted, homeless and disposed of animals of our community.
Every SPCA member, Board Member, and volunteer has extreme compassion for every animal we take into our care.
The animals here are in need of forever families. They also need people from our community to come and volunteer at the shelter. A little compassion goes a long way when it comes to helping an animal in need!
Adopting a friend
Our adoption fee's are as follows:
***DOGS & PUPPIES***
Dogs over 1yr. are $100.00
Designer or purebred dogs may start at $150.00 + (ex. poodle)
Puppies: (3 months to 1 yr) are $125.00
If the pets are not old enough to be spayed or neutered an addtional cost of $100.00 is added onto the adoption, but then refunded to you, after the spay/neutered is completed.
The adoption fee for our dogs and puppies include:
up-to-date shots, spay/neuter, deworming, flea prevention, bordatella, vet checks, a bag of puppy/dog food, training tape and an i.d. tag.
***CATS & KITTENS***
Cats over 3yrs. are $25.00
Cats 1 yr to 3yrs. are $40.00
Speciality cats/kittens are $100.00 (purebreds/high demand)
Kittens: (3 months to 1 yr.) are $50.00 or 2 kittens for $70.00.
(plus $100.00 refundable spay/neuter deposit.)
The adoption fee for our cats & kittens include:
FIV/Felv tested, up-to-date vaccines, spay/neuter, flea prevention, vet checked, bag of kitten/cat food and training tape.
