"Bandit" is a female catahoula. She is 3 years old, and weighs 40 lbs. She adores children and is well behaved in the house, and walks well on a leash. She gets along well with other dogs. She is a real sweetheart, and loves to cuddle. She will make a wonderful family pet. Please share the love, as we have many dogs and cats awaiting their new homes and families.
News
We are a NO-KILL shelter and to date have not lost any rescue or abuse animals. We have saved and brought back to health every single one. Considering the horrible condition some of them were in, we feel this is a great accomplishment. Our Low cost, and free spay/nueter voucher program is going strong, and in one month we mailed out over $1,000 worth of spay/ neuter vouchers. At our last Rabies Clinic we assisted in vaccinating over 200 animals.
We are getting in more and more abused and starving animals, so our vet bills keep going up and up, so we need all the help we can get. Any monetary donations to help with vet bills would be greatly appreciated. You can send donations to our address at:

We are also in need of large dog houses, dog food, cat food, kitty litter, blankets, bleach, paper towels and other things. We could also use a tractor, or golf cart to help with hauling dog food and supplies. Please call (352) 463-7364 to volunteer or to get more info. on what is needed. More foster homes are also needed. These animals need all the help and love we can give them, please help!
Donations are always needed of good quality items that we can sell at yard sales to benefit the animals. If you have large donations, pick up can be arranged. Proceeds from our sales go towards our free and low cost spay/neuter voucher program for the public. Please call to obtain a low cost voucher. If you have donations of dog food, cat food, kitty litter or other animal items for the foster animals, please call us for pickup (352) 463-7364.
Who We Are
We are a NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL Humane Society and function on donations only. We need donations to help all the animals, and to continue to fund our free spay/neuter vouchers program for the public. To date we have not had to destroy any abuse or rescue animals. We have brought back to health and saved every single one. Considering the near death condtion some of them were in, we feel this is a GREAT accomplishment!
Adopting a friend
We have lots of cats, and dogs available for adoption. We also sometimes have horses and other farm animals available. "Floppy" the rabbit was adopted, and went to a loving home, and will live inside with his new family. His new owners say, that since he goes potty in a litter pan that they keep him inside with their cat, and the two of them get along great. We are thrilled that "Floopy" has a wonderful new family.
Come Visit Us!
We take appointments only, so please call ahead, if you would like to visit the animals.
