My name is Sandy and I am a smooth female sable-merle collie. I was rescued from a kill shelter by my foster parents. I'm only 7-8 years old
Everyone thought I was really old and sick because I was so white, but I am a sable merle and not really that old!
I am so grateful for this second chance at life.
My life on the street was not pleasant now now with lots of TLC I'm feeling much better and am VERY happy and playful! Now I am in tip-top shape for YOU! My heartworm is all gone and I can play, play, play and bring you lots of LOVE!
And boy...am I a stunner when I walk down the street!!!
Being older, I won’t be running your socks off. I like to walk and I seldom bark. My foster siblings, whom I get along with famously, have brought me out of my shell and I am ready to be a part of a home that is looking for a lay back forever companion.
Life is good and I’m looking forward to sharing mine with you.
I may require medication for bladder control for life. (reasonable cost)

Who We Are
ColliesFloridaRescue Inc. Is a 501(c) (3) Tax Exempt Organization whose purpose is to save, rehabilitate and re-home collies throughout the state of Florida.
"We do not (yet) have a rescue facility, we facilitate rescue".
We depend on the generous support of a network of FOSTER HOMES and volunteers.
We are always looking for great new foster homes.
We also work along with the Collie Club of Greater Miami, (and many other volunteers around the state) a not for profit organization whose members assist us in rescues and promotes education and information about pure bred Collies .
We are not a Shelter, breeder, kennel or a business.
All Collies are fostered in private foster homes throughout the state of Florida.
