Adoption Hours:
Tuesday through Friday 11:00 AM till 5:00 PM (adoptions stop at 4:30 PM)
Saturday 10:00 AM till 4:00 PM (adoptions stop at 3:30 PM)
Closed Sunday and Monday
We are unable to process adoptions 1/2 hour prior to closing to allow our staff time to feed and care for the animals.
Animal Admitting Hours:
Tuesday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Closed Sunday and Monday and major holidays
Community Needs:
Suncoast Humane Society is a non-profit, open admissions animal care center (shelter), which services Charlotte County, Sarasota County south of the City of Sarasota and Boca Grande portion of Lee counties. We accept animals from private citizens within our service area during our admitting hours (except certain major holidays). We also have a low cost vaccination and spay/neuter clinic by appointment only. Please call 941-474-7884 to book an appointment, or for more information.
