Our Mission

MEOW Now's mission is to humanely reduce the free-roaming cat population in Pinellas County by providing targeted Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR), caregiver support and advocacy.

Adoption Policy

To adopt a cat or kitten from MEOW Now we ask that you first fill out an application https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MWNW/Cat
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, and you will be asked to provide a clear image of your driver's license or comparable ID. After submitting the application, one of our representatives will contact you and once approved, you typically have your choice of our available kittens. All kittens are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, current on age appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. We do require adopters to collect the kitten from us in Pinellas County, we cannot transport beyond nearby meeting spots as agreed upon by the foster caregiver.

Adopters will be asked to submit an adoption fee and sign a contract. The key points of our contract include:
The applicant is accepting responsibility as the owner of the cat for the duration of the cat's natural lifetime.
The cat shall be kept as an indoor pet and will not be allowed to roam freely outdoors.
The cat's microchip must be registered in your own name and kept up to date.
Licensing and vaccination shall be maintained as required by law.
Timely veterinary care will be provided in the event of illness or injury as well as for routine care.
