Featured Bunny:
Orlando!
Checkers loves hay...it's good for munchin' and for playing in! As soon as she gets a fresh bunch, she dives right in, and under, and through, and over.... It's a joy to watch her have fun, especially when you know she came from being left in a tiny cage with improper care and attention. Because of that treatment, she likes to protect her new, roomier digs, and can be aggressive toward hands reaching into her safe place. She grunts and charges, but she has never bitten anyone. She would do great if she had an even bigger home to call her own...a playpen, or even full run of a living room. View other rabbits available for adoption

Who We Are
Gainesville Rabbit Rescue is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization. We aim to rescue and rehabilitate abused, neglected, and abandoned bunnies and find them loving, permanent homes. We provide public education about rabbit care through programs and a hotline.
Latest News
GRR would like to thank Dr. Greene at Hilltop Animal Clinic for his generosity towards our GRR bunnies. All the the rabbits that have been spayed/neutered are healthy and happy and give shining reports on Dr. Greene and his staff. Please call (386) 462-3822 for your rabbit health care as well as other animal care.
Upcoming Events
GRR hosts Bunny Spa Day every first and third Sunday at PetsMart from 12-4 pm. We're available to answer bunny-related questions and for a small donation we will give your bunny a thorough grooming. Also, come by to meet some of the available foster bunnies we have. You'll fall in love with them all.
Adopting a friend
To begin the adoption process, send us an email. We adopt to indoor homes mostly, but do have a couple of exceptional rabbits that could live outside. All of our policies and procedures are included in the adoption application.
Come Visit Us!
All of our rabbits are placed in foster homes until they are adopted. You are welcome to meet the buns, but please make an appointment first.
