Our Pet List

Who We Are

The Humane Society of Greater Miami has been helping homeless animals in Miami-Dade County since 1936. Nearly 200 homeless dogs, cats, puppies and kittens are cared for at our adoption center every day. We are able to give these animals a second chance by providing tender loving care for as long as it takes to find them homes with kind, responsible and committed caregivers.

The Humane Society of Greater Miami Adopt-A-Pet is a limited admit, adoption guarantee facility dedicated to placing every dog and cat in our care into a loving home, and to promoting responsible pet ownership and spay/neuter programs.

Why Give to HSGM?

The Humane Society of Greater Miami/Adopt-A-Pet does not receive any funding from government agencies or from any other animal welfare organization. We rely completely on private donations, grants and fundraising events to raise the money needed to carry out its mission. We appreciate any level of support that you are able to provide to help us support our mission to place every dog and cat in our care into a loving home, and to promote responsible pet ownership and spay/neuter programs.
