TRI COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY LULLIS M. RITTER ANIMAL SHELTER 21287 Boca Rio Road • Boca Raton, FL 33433 • (561) 482-8110 |
The Tri County Humane Society is a no-kill organization. Once an animal is rescued by Tri County, it is saved for life. We will not release an animal to another organization that has a policy of euthanasia. In addition, we will only place animals with qualified prospective owners.
When a potential adopter comes into the shelter and sees an animal he or she is interested in adopting, an application is filled out. Once an application is approved, one of our trained adoptions counselors brings the adopter and animal together to allow them to get to know each other better. During this time, the counselor talks to the adopter about his or her desire to adopt and may ask questions about:
Please call Tri County at 561-482-8110. You can help save an animal's life.
Our volunteers are indispensable. Dozens of dedicated women and men donate thousands of hours in virtually every department of the shelter. Some are here 2 or 3 days per week, while others come in one afternoon. All levels of commitment are greatly appreciated. If you love animals and like working with people, consider volunteering.
