Adopting A Friend
We do have a foster program in place although we prefer to adopt our animals to responsible, loving forever homes. An application for approval will be required along with references and a home check. Once approved adopters have to sign an adoption contract.
All adoptable pets come to you fully vetted, including neutering, vaccinations and micro-chipped.
We do NOT charge an adoption fee, but do ask for donations to defer costs.
Who We Are
Cinagro Farm Rescue Services, Inc. is a non-profit charitable corporation, 501(c)(3), formed solely to assist established rescues and transports in an effort to pull animals from shelters that regularly euthanize animals due to issues with space.
- We are not a rescue facility. We are not a transport. The mission is to assist these organizations and pull animals when time is of the essence. We are a rescue group. We do not pull animals without a rescue or foster in which to deliver them. Transport must be in place prior to committing to pull an animal. We do occasionally transport within the local area, schedule permitting, by appointment only. We do have an extensive contact list of those willing to help. We are adding to our database of veterinarians, individuals, rescues and transports for the purpose of coordinating these efforts.
- We strive to rescue by means of transfer, foster care, veterinary care and sterilization of animals that would otherwise be euthanized, assist other animal rescues and shelters throughout the State of Florida and where we are registered adoption partners out of state, provide adoption of rescued pets to qualified homes that have been properly screened by adoption coordinators and foster parents to maintain the pet in a home best suited for the lifetime of the animal, and provide education in the community in terms of responsible pet care, ownership and animal welfare.
- Cinagro Farm Rescue Services, Inc. is also a proud member of "Pets of the Homeless". We are one of many donation sites across America that have committed to helping the estimated 3.5 million homeless persons in the United States, specifically those with dogs. This effort is specifically aimed at providing food and veterinary care to the homeless and less fortunate in our local community. We work with food banks as drop off facilities for pet food donations and will take cash donations that will be sent immediately to the Pets of the Homeless organization. - Our mission, always, is to save abandoned, abused, neglected and homeless animals with the hope of not only making a difference in the animals' lives, but also in the lives of the families and individuals that they will touch. Most rescue animals rescue us in the process of rescuing them. We advocate humane consumption, humane activities, respect and kindness toward all creatures great and small. Animals ask for so little and give so much in return. We vehemently act in their behalf as their voice.
