The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Tampa Bay is a non-profit agency that has addressed the problem of homeless and abused animals for more than 68 years without federal or state tax dollars. Philanthropic support plays an essential role in ensuring that homeless pets receive humane care. Once it is determined that an animal is medically and emotionally suitable for adoption, the SPCA provides food, shelter and medical care until the animal is adopted. The SPCA provides services to more than 15,000 animals every year. The SPCA is the largest pet adoption center in the Tampa Bay area, offering the biggest selection of affordable, adoptable pets.
Adopting a friend
The SPCA Tampa Bay offers the largest selection of pets in the Tampa Bay Florida area. When you adopt, your new pet will go home complete with shots, spayed/neutered, licensed and microchipped for identification. We also provide FREE behavioral training classes to new owners and their adopted pets. Adopters are asked to take their new pet to a veterinarian within five days of adoption.
