Branford Compassion Club (BCC) is a non-profit feline rescue organization that serves not only Branford, Connecticut, but surrounding shoreline towns. The mission of the club is to provide for the feeding, shelter and care of homeless, abandoned and feral cats; to educate the public about the importance of spay/neuter population control, responsible pet ownership and kindness to animals; and to establish an ongoing community network to achieve these goals.
Branford Compassion Club was founded in November 1997, by a handful of compassionate Branford residents concerned with the growing population of feral cats. The residents united to form BCC to alleviate the hunger and suffering of feral cats in this community.
Please consider adopting a new friend. Colony cats and kittens were, in many cases, abandoned animals. We ask for a donation to help offset medical expenses incurred. All animals up for adoption have received vaccinations, are spayed or neutered, treated for fleas and ear mites and tested for feline AIDS and leukemia. Please visit our Adoption Page on our official website for more details.

To learn more about the Branford Compassion Club or to become a volunteer (we are in dire need of foster homes, colony feeders, and fundraising), please join us at our monthly meetings held the 4th Tuesday of every month at 7 pm at the Branford Community House, Church Street, Branford, CT.
Please explore our official website, featuring photos of fundraising events, including our yearly Animal Awareness Day/Blessing of the Animals, our education efforts, and expanded information of caring for colony cats.
