Who We Are
T.A.I.L.S. is a non profit, 501(c)3 organization based in Fairfield County which funds & promotes spaying and neutering to end the pet overpopulation problem. Not surprisingly, in the course of our work we come across many animals in need and end up taking in and trying to place them whenever possible. We also host adoption events to help out shelters and to highlight the need for spaying and neutering to end the pet overpopulation problem. To date, we have placed over 200 animals since 1/1/10. TAILS is made up solely of volunteers and has no paid staff. If you are interested in helping us in our organizational efforts please contact us through our website (www.tailsct.org) or at info@tailsct.org.
Adopting a friend
Although TAILS does not have a shelter of our own, we are able to place animals in loving forever homes through a network of concerned individuals and businesses who foster/house the animals you see in our listings.
