Our Mission
Wells Valley Cat Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3. Wells Valley Cat Sanctuary was founded in August of 2013. We are now Wells Valley Cat Rescue, a foster based rescue program that assists abandoned, neglected cats and kittens. With help from our committed volunteers, fosters, and veterinarians we are able to nurture, provide medical care while providing a safe and loving environment for as long as it takes to find every cat and kitten a forever homes.
Our efforts provide many benefits for New Milford and many other towns and cities in Connecticut.

Adoption Policy
Completing an application and adoption contract is required and the potential adopter needs to be approved before any cat or kitten can leave the foster home. All of our cats and kittens are combo tested, current on vaccines and spayed or neutered before they are adopted out. Â The cost for an adult over 1 year is $150.00. The cost to adopt a cat that is over 6 months and up to a year old is $200.00 and the cost to adopt a kitten under 6 months is $250.00. Please note that our kittens remain in their foster home until the age of 12 weeks due to spay/neuter and rabies vaccination requirement. This also allows us more time to assess the physical health and temperament of the cats and kittens. Â Email is the best and quickest way to contact us. Â
