Our Mission
Our mission is to help all deserving dogs - whatever their origin might be - find good homes, from wherever they are.
New England All Breed Rescue is a network of rescuers and dog advocates who work to re-home unwanted or displaced dogs into new family homes. Many of our dogs come from the Midwest and the South where completely healthy dogs are euthanized after three days. It is our goal to take these unwanted dogs where there are not enough homes and relocate them through our network of volunteers to New England where there is a shortage of adoptable dogs.
Adopting a Dog
The first step in any adoption is an application with reference checks and in most cases a home visit. Our goal is to have the very best home for ALL our dogs. All the dogs listed are in private foster homes all over the country waiting to be adopted. We do not have a shelter you can visit. All adoption fees are $425, unless otherwise noted on the petfinder listing. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!! IF YOU ARE NOT PLANNING ON ADOPTING A DOG WITHIN A WEEK OR TWO, OR EVER, DO NOT APPLY TO ADOPT. OUR VOLUNTEERS WORK VERY LONG HOURS AND 90% OF PEOPLE APPLYING ARE WASTING OUR TIME AND NOT REALLY GOING TO ADOPT. WE HOPE THAT EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS THAT WE CAN SPEND TIME SAVING MORE LIVES IF WE CAN ACTUALLY WORK ON APPLICATIONS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE REALLY GOING TO ADOPT. Getting Your Dog
We use a licensed transport company to bring many of our dogs to New England. Some times adoptions are done on a long-distance basis and a dog goes directly from a foster home to a new northern home. We are always happy to let adopters meet their pets first before they make their final decision.We use Alpha Dog transprt and My Buddys going home Transport.
Working with us
We are volunteers and we have hectic family and work schedules just like everyone else. We try to respond quickly and e-mail is the best way to reach us. Please understand we are not only answering questions, processing applications, and notifying adopters. If you do not hear from us, try again. We may have missed your e-mail.
Foster Information
We are always in Desperate need of foster homes. We can't save the poor soul's sitting on death row with out them!!
