Who We Are
The Great Dane Club of Oxford, Inc. Connecticut Rescue is committed to finding homes for Great Danes that are surrendered as a result of divorce, relocation, family time constraints as well as many other reasons.
Our mission is to find these gentle giants a permanent new home.
We are dedicated to finding people that understand the commitment required by these dogs and to provide them with the best home possible.
The Great Dane Club of Oxford Connecticut ~ Rescue evaluates each dog individually so that they are matched with an adoptive home that accomodates the needs of the dog as well as the lifestyle of the family .
Adopting a friend
We require a written application as well as an initial phone interview. A rescue representative will conduct a home evaluation/walk through and check your references. We also require an adoption fee at the time you sign the final adoption agreement.
We always accept applicatons on a rolling basis, so if at the time you apply we do not have a dog that fits your circumstances, then you may be waitlisted for another dog that fits your lifestyle.
