Make the Holidays a Little Brighter for Homeless Pets!!
We are honored to be a part of this great month long fundraiser. We are always in need of the pubilc's donations especially when our shelter is filled with homeless pets. We thank all who donate in advance and special thanks to Erin, Hunter and our previously homeless husky, Simba!

This beautiful sweet girl was saved after being found in a dumpster. She is so much prettier in person, and is just as sweet as can be!

Venus is barely a year old and needs a forever home!! As you can see she loves children and does well with cats. This little princess seems perfect, read more about Venus in her bio......

If you haven't purchased a brick yet, now is the time! We have started laying the engraved bricks in the sidewalk. They look beautiful. The bricks can be purchased for $50 each. They can be engraved with your pet's or family's name. We hope this fundraiser will brighten the shelter grounds and is a nice way to honor our loved ones. Please call or email for lettering information.
The East Haven Animal Shelter is a municipal shelter serving the town of East Haven, CT. We are committed to helping all animals that come into our care, and adopting them out to loving homes. Unfortunately, we are not a no-kill shelter, but with the help of our compassionate Animal Control Officers and our volunteer group, we do everything within our power to insure that an adoptable animal is not euthanized. If an animal is marked as URGENT, that means we will need to find a home for it soon.
Please note, animals are not adopted on a first come, first serve basis. We need to make sure it will be the best match for both you and the animal.
Donations are always accepted and very much appreciated. We can always use the following items: Dog and cat food, cat litter, old blankets and towels, cleaning supplies, and cat toys. We also are very happy to accept cash donations, which all goes towards medical expenses for the animals in our care.
