NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE - WE ARE NOT A SHELTER FACILITY IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A DOG YOU MUST E-MAIL THE CONTACT ON THE PETS PETFINDER PAGE *Urgent* Brandy the lhasa apso is in desperate need of a foster home. Please contact the person on his page for more information.

***GOOD TO KNOW*** Do not leave your pet in a car even with the windows down 3-4" on a Spring/Summer/Fall day. The car can heat up to over 130 degrees within minutes on a 70 degree day. This can cause your pet to overheat and die. For more information regarding this subject, please check out the following link: http://www.hsus.org/pets/pet_care/cool_it_summers_heat_can_be_deadly_for_your_pet.html

*** URGENT*** We are in desperate need for foster homes. We do not have enough places to keep many dogs. Please inquire with any of our volunteers about fostering.

Our dogs are fostered in homes throughout the New England area. We do not have a central facility that you can visit to see our dogs. We are a strictly volunteer group that works together to save dogs and we are scattered across the area. We welcome visits between adopters and dogs but do be aware that they may be located in any number of places throughout New England. If you have questions about a dog, please contact the person listed on that pets petfinder page. We receive several e-mails everyday while working full-time jobs, so please be patient.

When adopting a dog from any shelter, sign up for Shelter Care Intro. It only costs $1 for the first month. This will protect your dog and cut down vet costs. Visit www.sheltercare.com/land/sheltercareintro.html

Please consider reading one of Cesar Millan's books. It is a great guide to understand and correct common dog problems.

Who We Are

NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE - WE ARE NOT A SHELTER FACILITY

Inspired by our own dogs that we have rescued, we are two sisters who decided to establish a rescue group in the northeast for the thousands of dogs who are euthanized daily. We work directly with a partner group. This group pulls dogs from the kill shelters based on their personality, health and overall temperament. Our goal is to find homes for these dogs who have either been abandoned, neglected or abused.

WE DO NOT HAVE A RESCUE FACILITY.

Adopting a friend

If you are interested in adopting one of our furry friends we ask that you complete an application (which we will forward to you.) We also require a vet reference check and a home visit when possible. Some of our dogs require fenced in yards while others do not.

Come Visit Us!

We do not have a rescue facility, however we do board dogs locally and have foster homes. Please only contact the person who name is attached to the dog you are interested in. The name associated with each dog is the only person who can give you information about that dog.
