It is with heavy heart we announce that Beagles Etc will not be taking in anymore beagles indefinitely.
We have placed over 400 beagles and beagle mixes into loving homes over the last 3 years. We wish to thank all our past adopters, volunteers and supporters, we couldn’t have done that without you.
But with the failing economy, rising cost of everything and decline in adoptions, volunteers and donations we can no longer keep “the doors open”.CT RESIDENTS ONLY
If you are a CT resident and can no longer keep your beagle, we will post the beagle on our website if it is up to date on vaccines and spayed or neutered. Please email with all the information on your beagle and send pictures if you would like help placing your beagle while it remains with you until a new home is found. We will not charge an adoption fee, but encourage the current owners to charge a minimal fee to be donated to a local 501c3 shelter or rescue.
If you are a CT pound or shelter, Beagles Etc will help network a beagle you have in your shelter and help match it with a great home
We may be able to take an extremely urgent beagle (about to face euthansia) from a CT pound if space and funds permit. The beagle will be vetted (vaccinated, dewormed and spay/neutered) and placed for adoption through Beagles Etc. In that case an adoption fee to help cover some expenses will apply.
If you are looking to adopt a beagle, please email with what you are looking for (age, sex, size). We may know of a beagle not posted on the website that is looking for a home and will work with you to find a perfect match.
Thanks again to all our adopters, volunteers and supporters for making Beagles Etc a success and giving hundreds of beagles a chance at a new life, we will never forget you.
