The Queenie Foundation's rescue/adoption program is in Texas, just south of Dallas, and run by our Vice President. All of our foster dogs are fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered and treated for health issues, if any, before they are available for adoption. Your donation, no matter the size, is graciously accepted and put to use immediately to treat our dogs so we can find them a forever home. We know that times are tough, but we can't do this work without YOU!
If you know someone in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area who's looking for a small dog, check out our TX Petfinder site.

Sleeping with Dogs...one of life's benefits
Our International Homeless Animals' Day on Saturday, August 15 was a success!
There were 12 rescue/adoption/advocacy organizations there for our Meet 'n Greet. Vendors provided cool items for sale. Rev. Mike Ader facilitated the Interfaith Blessing of the Animals, which was followed by a candlelight remembrance of animals killed in shelters in the past year. Plus, we had FABULOUS raffle prizes, courtesy of our Treasuer, Karin Bundy; she worked really hard to get all those donations.
Diana Urban, CT Representative for Stonington and Stonington's 43rd Assembly District, was our Special Guest Speaker and Sue Mercer from Bikers Against Animal Cruelty spoke eloquently about Pit Bulls and animal abuse.
You'll have to come next year, Saturday, August 21, venue to be determined.
We invite you to be active for animals.
