Flora's Pet Project
Pet of the Week
Each of our rescued pets is special, and our "pet of the week" is any dog or cat who has been lucky enough to make the move from foster care to a home of his or her own. We love and care for all of our pets while they're here, but the celebrations begin when they leave for their happy new lives with their wonderful new humans.

Who We Are
Flora's Pet Project is a 501(c)(3) charity, run entirely by volunteers and devoted to animal welfare. We are a foster home-based operation, and each pet offered for adoption through Flora's Pet Project, including every kitten and every puppy, has been neutered, vaccinated and tested for heartworm (dogs) or feline leukemia/AIDS (cats) prior to adoption. We also perform any medical procedures and provide any medications which the pet might require--everything from amputations to zithromax. These vet services are funded by tax-deductible donations to Flora's Pet Project.
Adopting a friend
If you see a pet on our website who looks like a potential family member, please complete our online application at www.floraspetproject.org. It takes just a few moments and costs nothing. If you have questions, contact us by e-mail at flora@floraspetproject.org (please phone only if e-mail is unavailable).
Our foster families are very accommodating and will meet with potential adopters at any time that's convenient for the visitors--evenings, weekends and holidays included.
