All our cats are well-cared for and loved by all of us at our sanctuary. We each have our favorites for different reasons --- it's too hard to choose just one "featured pet" . Come visit us and choose your own favorite "featured pet" to go home with you.

Since June 2005, we have taken in over 1200 unwanted cats and kittens, and placed over 1000 in adoptive homes.
Who We Are
We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit no kill cat sanctuary, founded in April of 2005 by Marylou and Bob Stachon, on 2 acres of land in Griswold, CT. Our mission is to provide a loving home and solid adoption opportunities for abandoned, unwanted, or abused felines, and to educate the community, through humane education, to spay or neuter their companion or feral felines.
Our mission is also to attempt to return lost animals to their owners; to find suitable homes for homeless animals; and to provide a humane means to end an animal's suffering.
Adopting a friend
We have an adoption application that can be located on our website, KittyHarbor.org. We ask for a $50 adoption donation per cat, to help offset veterinary costs, and so that we can continue our work and rescue more unwanted animals.
