DONATIONS NEEDED!

2009 has been a very expensive year for us. Several dogs required very expensive emergency medical care, and in addition, we have cared for 38 puppies! Even after a sick dog recovers and gets adopted, we still have to pay for their medical bills. Your donations help pay for those costs.

Coming soon to Bloomfield, CT...

Construction on our Bloomfield facility is finished, but there has been a delay in our Grand Opening because we're waiting for sewer lines to go in. We are still very excited, but impatient about the setback. We now plan to open our doors in January 2010! Check out the EVENTS page on our website to view our calendar of upcoming events.

Foster Homes Needed

Would you be willing to open your heart and your home to a foster animal? We have several wonderful senior citizens who deserve nothing more than to live out their remaining years in a snuggly bed, and the loving arms of a family. Fostering can also help our animals adjust to living in a home environment, after living for a long period of time in the shelter. By fostering, you can help turn a wonderful animal in someone's perfect pet!

If you are interested, please check out our website for more information.

Volunteers Needed

We are always looking for volunteers to help us with the animals or to offer specialized skills behind the scenes. Our Bloomfield headquarters is scheduled to open in December 2009, and we will need volunteers to help with walking and socializing dogs, socializing cats, and fundraising.

Please visit our website for an Application to Volunteer.

Who We Are
