Poor Cleopatra was rendered homeless when her family decided to move into an apartment that does not allow pets. She is a very sweet, affectionate girl who loves attention and is fine with other pets. Cleopatra had an eye infection upon arrival that the original owner never addressed (it was never mentioned, and perhaps never even NOTICED!!). After the infection cleared up, her poor eye continued to produce mucus and it was discovered that her eyes do not produce enough tears (the human equivalent of chronic dry eye), so she will need to have optimmune ophthalmic ointment (which contains the same active ingredient as Restasis and serves to stimulate tear production) put in both of her eyes every twelve hours for the remainder of her life. She needs a special home with a special owner who will take care of her eyes. Would that special person be YOU??? She has been spayed, tested negative for feline leukemia, and vaccinated.
