We participate in the State of Connecticut program which encourages spaying and neutering of all adopted pets. Fees are based on whether or not your new pet has already been spayed or neutered. More information is available when you visit.

The pound has no regular hours. All vsits are by appointment or chance. For an appointment call 860.575.4965 We are located just off exit 4 North on Route 9, in the Essex Public Works area.
