The Naugatuck Dog Pound is a municipal animal control facility. As much as we can, we provide the basics of care for the animals, but what they really need is a loving, stable home environment to truly be happy.
All pets must be family members-kept indoors as part of the family. Adoption fee (CT State Animal Population Program): $50.00 for intact animals which covers spay/neuter, rabies & distemper vaccinations. Adoption applications are available via e-mail.
If you currently have a dog in the home and are looking to add another one, PLEASE make sure to bring your current dog with you to meet the potential new addition. This will help ensure a happy living situation for everyone, as well as less stress for everyone once you take the new pet home.
