Kitten season is here and we have some wonderful little girls that need wonderful homes. We also have some newborns. They will not be ready to go for awhile,but they are so cute!
We work with all of our animals and give them a lot of love so they will make great pets. We specialize in SPECIAL PETS!
The shelter could use donations of bath towels that are in good shape, NO HOLES or RIPS. We use them for the cages. They give the cats a nice clean bed every day! Thank you!
Who We Are
We are a Municipal Shelter and Animal Control Department. We serve the town of Old Lyme,but are always available to advise and help anyone who calls. We are the only agency in Old Lyme that is legally able to investigate animal abuse, rescue the neglected animals from there situation, rehabilitate and place them in new homes. We have been working with a other rescue groups and other towns to help promote sucessful rescues and rehabilitations.

It is as easy as calling for a time to come and visit! Or just call and let us know what lovable pet you are looking for. If it is not here, we maybe able to help you find other possibilities. We have had great success in finding pets for people even though we may not have what they are looking for.
Come Visit Us!
We are open Monday through Friday, 10AM to 1PM, Saturday 10AM to 12PM. Sundays we are closed. Call for a time to come as we may be out on a call. Other times are by appointment.
We are located off Rt. 95, Exit 71 , Four Mile River Rd. Take Hatchet"s hill to the top. It turns into Machnik Drive. We are the first building on the right.
